In late December last year, Tansi Solutions was contacted to do a review of the product range, marketing, delivery and operations of an event venue and guest ‘ranch’ in the Prairies and come up with a plan for a complete make over of the business. Over the next 6 months, as Tansi went through the process of analyzing the business and come up with a recovery plan, the owners of the facility changed from being business acquaintances to becoming good friends.

With event management, country style ranch accommodation, winter sleigh and carriage ride experiences, and a catering services, this multi-product tourism business needed some ‘big picture’
thinking and a structured plan. For the owners, actively operating the business on a hands-on basis day after day is mentally and physically exhausting leaving them little time to sit back and reflect on growth and marketing plans.
